Lyric Duveyoung

Lyric Duveyoung was born in the United States. He studied psychology at Monterey Peninsula College in California (2002–2004) and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Maharishi International University (1996–2000). He currently serves as President of the ATMN Group, with over 24 years of management experience.

Duveyoung's live tournament cashes are primarily from the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Key results include:

Duveyoung is best known for creating the online poker IQ test DonkeyTest.com. The test consists of 50 questions, is said to take 30 minutes, and can only be taken once. As of May 2009, over 145,000 people had taken it. The results generate a detailed poker skill profile, including sub-scores for bluffing, blind play, identifying betting patterns, and big-pair play, but a full report costs $9.95.

Duveyoung told ESPN that he spent a year writing the test and that approximately 85,000 people had completed it by the time of the 2008 WSOP. He is himself a multi-table online player with over 2 million online hands of experience, which provided the practical foundation for designing the test.

Duveyoung is considered a solid online player, focusing on hand selection and position analysis. When he appeared at the 2008 WSOP final table, commentators joked about his outfit covered in sponsor logos (reminiscent of a NASCAR driver's suit). Although few public anecdotes exist, he is well-known in the poker community as the creator of the "Donkey Test," with fans occasionally referring to him as a "quietly rising player."

Duveyoung resides in Pebble Beach, California, and has long served as President of the ATMN Group. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Maharishi International University, an institution known for consciousness-based education and Transcendental Meditation.
