Marco Almerez

Marco Almerez first gained recognition in the Philippine poker scene by winning the RVS CUP 2018 Main Event, a prestigious local championship held at Metro Card Club. This victory established him as a formidable player in the region.

In 2019, Almerez continued his success by winning the Power Button side event at the RVS CUP 2019, earning PHP 25,130. He also finished runner-up in the Kadayawan 2023 Main Event, taking home PHP 110,000 plus a GPC seat. Another notable runner-up finish came in the Manila Megastack 21 Knockout in January 2025, where he earned $2,545 (PHP 148,000).

Almerez has remained active in major tournaments across the Philippines.
