Matthew Riebel

Matthew Riebel holds a Master's degree in statistics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He worked at PepsiCo as a Demand Planning Analyst, Business Analyst, and Inventory Policy Analyst before becoming a Statistician for the U.S. Department of Defense in 2010. His analytical background has influenced his methodical approach to poker.

Riebel's largest cash came in December 2023 when he placed 235th out of 3,835 entrants in the $1,700 Main Event at the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas, earning $24,400. He also cashed in the 2023 WSOP $1,000 Mystery Millions (Event #3) for $1,161 and the 2022 WSOP $1,111 One More for One Drop (Event #71) for $12,671.
