Ognyan Dimov

Ognyan Dimov was born in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. He began his poker career online under the screen name "cocojamb0", quickly becoming a highly successful grinder. He achieved Supernova Elite status on PokerStars, the highest VIP tier at the time, which required immense volume and dedication. This online foundation gave him a deep understanding of tournament dynamics and bankroll management, preparing him for live competition.

Dimov's first major live title came in February 2015 at the EPT Deauville Main Event (part of the France Poker Series). He won €543,700 (approximately $616,376), defeating a field of 1,068 entrants. In June 2018, he captured a WSOP gold bracelet in Event #42: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Six-Max, earning $378,743. This victory highlighted his skill in short-handed formats. At the 2018 EPT Barcelona, he finished third in the Main Event for €725,621 ($848,977), cashing for over $800,000.

In 2023, Dimov stepped into high-stakes events. He won the $25,000 High Roller at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) for $990,655 in February. Later that year, in October, he triumphed in a $31,800 Seven-Handed event at the Triton Super High Roller Series Monte Carlo, taking home a career-best $1,010,000. These two wins alone added over $2 million to his career earnings.

Dimov has accumulated over $1.78 million in WSOP live cashes across 78 cashes, with one bracelet and four final tables. His best WSOP result aside from the bracelet includes a 48th-place finish in the $25,000 Eight-Max at the 2026 WSOP for $50,587. He continues to compete in WSOP events annually.

Dimov has been a consistent performer on the EPT. He holds an EPT Main Event title (Deauville 2015) and a third-place finish in Barcelona 2018. In 2026, he finished 13th in the EPT Monte Carlo Main Event for €60,138, 48th in the WSOP $25K Eight-Max for $50,587, and 4th in an EPT Paris €2,100 Hyper Turbo for $24,143. He continues to represent Bulgaria on the global stage.

In addition to his live success, Dimov has excelled in online tournaments. In August 2020, he finished 8th in the $3,000+200 WPT World Championship 8-Max Online (Event #3) on partypoker, earning $48,427. He also cashed in the WPT Online Championship Main Event in May 2020 for $6,646. These results highlight his adaptability across formats.
