Ranzinger's live tournament record dates back to 2014. In June 2014, he finished 4th in the EUREKA Rozvadov Main Event (€1,100 buy-in), earning $45,621 — at the time a personal best single-tournament score. Later that November, he took 3rd in a MegaPokerSeries event (€770 buy-in) for an additional $20,646.

In November 2015, Ranzinger performed strongly in the Mega Poker Series (MPS) Main Event (€800 buy-in) at King's Casino Rozvadov. The tournament generated a €200,000 prize pool from 217 entries. After Day 2, he bagged 1,740,000 chips as the chip leader among 31 advancing players, putting him within reach of the €40,000 first-place prize. In February 2018, he placed 115th in the online poker LIVE MILLIONS Germany (€1,100 buy-in) for $3,348. In September 2020, he finished 1,681st in the 2020 WSOP Online event ($100 buy-in) for $437. his career live tournament earnings total $256,990, with a best cash of $45,300.
