Tom Vogelsang

Tom Vogelsang was born and raised in the Netherlands. He started playing poker online and quickly moved up the stakes. For many years, he was unable to play in live US events due to residency restrictions. In 2025, he relocated to the United States, which opened the door to the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas and other American tournaments. Prior to that, he built his career through online high-stakes games and European live events.

In December 2025, Vogelsang entered WSOP Paradise Event #7: $10,000 Super PLOSSUS Pot-Limit Omaha, a six-max event with 284 entries and a $2,754,800 prize pool. He began the final table as one of the short stacks but rallied to take the chip lead. After several eliminations, he faced Viktor "Isildur1" Blom heads-up. On the final hand, the flop came A♣5♥3♦, and Vogelsang held 9♥7♥4♠2♠ against Blom's A♦A♠5♠6♦. The turn and river failed to improve Blom, and Vogelsang claimed the bracelet and $609,800. This victory was especially meaningful as it was his first WSOP bracelet and only his second WSOP cash overall. He later told PokerNews, "I've always lived in the Netherlands where I couldn't really play in the U.S., and I only moved this year. I haven't really thought about winning bracelets ever. So, next year's World Series is going to be my first World Series where I will really play tournaments. This is really the first time I really think about bracelets."

Vogelsang has been a regular on the Triton Poker Super High Roller circuit, where he has achieved several six-figure scores. His largest cash came in April 2022 at Triton Cyprus, where he finished runner-up in a $100,000 No-Limit Hold'em eight-max event for $1,390,000. The following year, he placed 5th in the $100,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event at the Triton Jeju series for $686,000. In September 2022, he finished 9th in the $200,000 NLH Invitational at the Triton Mediterranean Poker Party, earning $620,000. In 2026, he placed 4th in the $50,500 No-Limit Hold'em event at the Onyx High Roller Series for $430,000, and 3rd in the €15,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event at EPT Monte Carlo for €141,000 (approx. $153,808). He also finished 4th in a €10,200 NLH Mystery Bounty at the same EPT for $74,646. Earlier in his career, he came 2nd in a €2,750 High Roller at the 2019 WSOP Circuit Holland Casino for €37,121, and 10th in the €25,000 Platinum High Roller at the 2021 WSOP Europe for €43,090. He also cashed in the 2019 WSOP Main Event for $17,135.

Vogelsang has an extensive online resume, including a win in the 2020 SCOOP Main Event for $133,168. He has multiple cashes in WSOP Online Super Circuit events, such as a 58th-place finish in the $400 COLOSSUS Bounty NLH for $5,629 and a 5th-place in the $525 Mystery Millions for $4,251. Vogelsang is known for a tight-aggressive style, characterized by patience and selective aggression.
