Zhi Pan first cashed in a live poker tournament in May 2009, but initially had a slow start with only nine in-the-money finishes between 2009 and 2017. Since then, he has amassed over 260 cashes, demonstrating a steady rise in the poker world.

Zhi Pan has won three World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets. His first bracelet came in 2022 in a No-Limit Hold'em Deep Freeze Online event for $36,148. He won his second bracelet in 2023 in a No-Limit Hold'em Turbo event for $42,875. His third and most significant bracelet came in 2025 when he triumphed in the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship, earning a career-best $411,051.
