十BB决赛桌(10bb Final Table)

10bb Final Table

10bb-final-table Refers to a short-stack situation in a poker tournament where all players at the final table have stack depths of about 10 big blinds or less.

Overview

10bb Final Table describes an extremely short-stacked scenario in a tournament where the average chip count per player is around 10 big blinds upon reaching the final table stage. This situation commonly occurs in low buy-in, fast structure, or high-level tournaments. Due to the high blind levels, players can hardly engage in normal post-flop play, and decisions primarily revolve around preflop all-ins or folds (push/fold).

Strategic Points

  • Push/Fold Strategy: At 10bb depth, raising and then calling almost commits the entire stack, making a preflop all-in the primary offensive move. Players need to adjust their shoving range based on pot odds, opponent ranges, and ICM factors.
  • Position Importance: The Button (BTN) and Cutoff (CO) positions have the highest shoving frequency due to the ability to steal blinds with manageable risk. Play from the Small Blind (SB) requires more caution because of positional disadvantage.
  • ICM Pressure: The prize pool jumps at the final table are significant. Short stacks may tend to avoid all-ins, while medium stacks might apply more pressure on the short stacks. At 10bb depth, ICM penalties are severe, so marginal calls should be avoided.
  • Range Characteristics: Typical shoving ranges include all pairs (22+), A-x with weak kickers (A2s+), and some high cards (KQo+, KTs+). Calling ranges are usually tighter, only considering strong hands like 99+, AQ+.

Example Scenario

  • Final table with 5 players remaining, blinds 10K/20K, average stack 200K (10BB). The Button shoves with A♠3♠, and the Small Blind calls with 88. This is a typical aggressive move with a weak Ace, but the caller has an advantage.
  • When ICM weight is high, a short stack might fold a medium pair like 55, because calling and losing would result in zero payout, while winning only doubles up.

Summary

10bb Final Table tests a player's ability to quickly calculate ranges, odds, and ICM, as well as emotional control. Mastering the strategy at this stage is key to achieving good results.
