按钮位75大盲注3-bet全下(BTN 75bb 3-Bet Jam)
BTN 75bb 3-Bet Jam
When the stack depth is approximately 75 big blinds, the player on the button employs an aggressive strategy of 3-betting and then jamming all-in preflop.
Term Composition
- BTN: Button position, belongs to late position, has positional advantage post-flop.
- 75bb: Stack depth is about 75 big blinds, belongs to medium-deep stacks, but jamming still puts significant pressure.
- 3-Bet: Re-raise after someone opens, usually indicates a strong hand or bluff.
- Jam: Go all-in with all chips.
Usage Scenario
Typical situation: An early position player (e.g., UTG or MP) opens to 2-3bb, middle or late position calls or folds. The button with 75bb directly 3-bet jams. Purpose of this move:
- With strong hands (e.g., TT+, AQ+) to isolate and extract value, avoiding complex multi-way pots post-flop.
- With bluff hands (e.g., A5s, KQs) to force opponents to fold, utilizing unexpressed pot equity. Because of the late position, opponents' calling ranges tend to be tighter, making the jam's risk manageable.
Advantages and Disadvantages
- Advantages: Simplifies decision-making, avoids unfavorable post-flop play; uses stack depth to limit opponent calling ranges, increasing fold equity.
- Disadvantages: If called, may be at a disadvantage in showdown equity; using it too frequently can be adjusted against.
Example
Assume preflop, UTG raises to 3bb, CO folds. You are in the big blind with 75bb and can 3-bet jam with AKo or 66, forcing UTG to fold weaker opening ranges.
Notes
When stack depth is less than 40bb, jamming is more common; above 100bb, direct jamming is rare (except for extremely short stacks). 75bb is a compromise depth, requiring a balance between value and bluffs.
