CO位15bb推弃策略(CO 15bb Push Fold)

CO 15bb Push Fold

Refers to a strategic framework where the player in the CO position only executes push or fold when the stack depth is approximately 15 big blinds.

Overview

CO 15bb Push Fold is a simplified strategy used in late stages of No-Limit Texas Hold'em tournaments when a player in the CO position holds approximately 15 big blinds. The core idea is to forgo small raises or calls and retain only two actions: push all-in or fold. This reduces decision complexity and avoids post-flop technical disadvantages.

Strategy Principles

With 15bb, the stack falls into the "short stack" range in tournaments, creating shallow post-flop pot odds that allow opponents to easily shove or force difficult decisions. The Push Fold strategy polarizes the range to all-in or fold, making it hard for opponents to call with medium-strength hands while leveraging fold equity to gain chips.

Typical Range (Example)

The following is a common range from GTO solvers (actual play should adjust based on opponents):

  • Push range: Approximately top 22% of hands, including all pairs, all Ax, Kx, Q9s+, JTs+, T9s+, etc.
  • Fold range: The remaining weaker hands, such as 32o, Q2o, J4o, etc.

Key Considerations

  • Opponents' calling tendencies in the blinds: Tighten the push range if opponents call wide.
  • ICM pressure: Reduce aggression near the money bubble.
  • Position: CO can push more loosely than UTG but more conservatively than BTN.

Notes

This strategy is a simplified model and insufficient for all scenarios. In actual play, adjust based on opponent data, tournament stage, and dynamics. Players with strong post-flop skills may mix in small raises to achieve higher expected value.
