CO位溜入底池翻牌策略(CO Limped Pot Flop Strategy)
CO Limped Pot Flop Strategy
Refers to the game strategy to be adopted on the flop when only the CO player has chosen to limp flat call into the pot pre-flop.
Overview
CO Limped Pot Flop Strategy applies to scenarios where the pre-flop CO player only limps in, and other players (including the blinds) mostly limp or check, creating a multiway pot. The core of this strategy is to leverage positional advantage and flexibly respond to different flop textures and opponent ranges.
Range Construction
The CO limp range is typically weak, containing many medium-strength hands such as small to medium pairs, suited connectors, and Ax with small kickers. After the flop, the CO player should decide whether to continuation bet based on the flop structure.
Flop Action Strategy
- Continuation Bet: When the flop favors the CO's range (e.g., low boards or potential draws), bet frequently with a size of about 1/3 to 1/2 pot to apply pressure and realize equity.
- Check: On high boards or when the flop does not match the range (e.g., A or K high boards), it is advisable to check to avoid losses from strong ranges that may counter.
- Check-Raise: When the CO has a strong hand or a draw and an opponent bets, use the check-raise strategy to build the pot while protecting the hand.
- Multiway Pot Adjustment: Since the pot may involve multiple players, the CO's betting range should be tighter to avoid over-bluffing in multiway pots.
Subsequent Action Considerations
The CO must observe other players' actions in the betting rounds, especially noting whether the blinds execute squeeze plays or raises. If opponents show weakness, the CO can use positional advantage to continue applying pressure on the turn and river.
