CO河牌同色试探下注(CO River Probe Bet Monotone)
在河牌圈,当公共牌均为同一花色时,由CO位置玩家发起的试探性下注。
Overview
CO River Probe Bet Monotone refers to a small probing bet made by the player in the Cutoff (CO) position, to the right of the dealer, on the river when the board is monotone (all community cards are of the same suit). This strategy is often used after multiple checks or small bets on the flop and turn, where the CO player attempts to win the pot cheaply or gather information.
Applicable Scenarios
- After multiple checks or small bets on the flop and turn, the CO believes the opponent's range is weak.
- When the river completes a possible flush, but the CO does not hold a flush, using a small bet to probe whether the opponent has a flush.
- When holding a medium-strength hand (e.g., one pair or two pair), hoping to deter bluffs or value bets from the opponent.
Strategic Considerations
- Bet size is typically 30%-50% of the pot to minimize risk.
- If the opponent raises, the CO can easily fold; if the opponent calls, they likely hold a flush or a strong hand.
- On a monotone board, the number of flush combinations is reduced, but the opponent may have a flush draw or already made flush.
