• Opponent's Range: The steal-raiser typically has a wide range, including air. The CO's resteal raise can exploit the opponent's fold equity, but the CO should note that the opponent may have completed a flush or straight draw.
• Bet Sizing: A pot-sized or overbet is often used to apply pressure, making it difficult for the opponent to call.
• Position Advantage: The CO acts on the river after seeing the opponent's action, allowing the CO to decide whether to resteal based on that information.

CO holds 8♠7♣ (a pair of sevens) and can raise to 4 times the bet, representing a seven or K-7 two pair, forcing the small blind to fold a weaker made hand or air.
