Poker Term

关煞位河牌挤压干燥(CO River Squeeze Dry)

A large raise on the river on a dry board by a player in the cutoff, aimed at forcing opponents to fold.

This term combines position (CO), street (River), and strategy (Squeeze Dry). CO stands for Cut Off, the position to the right of the dealer, which has position advantage post-flop. River is the final betting round. Squeeze originally refers to a large raise before the flop or on the flop to squeeze out intermediate players; here it is extended to a large raise on the river to squeeze opponents. Dry means a dry board (no possible flush or straight draws).

On a dry river board, hand strength is usually clear, and draws have missed. If a CO player has a very strong hand or chooses to bluff, they will use a large raise (usually 2-3 times the pot or all-in) to create pressure, forcing opponents to fold marginal pairs or bluff-catching hands. This requires precise judgment of opponent ranges and fold equity, and is an advanced play.

Note: This term is not a standard poker textbook term; it is more commonly seen in strategy discussions. In actual use, it must be combined with the specific board dynamics.
