Fast-Fold
Fast-Fold
Its core meaning is to significantly shorten the interval between hands and increase the game pace. In practice, this mode allows players to quickly move on to the next hand after folding weak hands, avoiding boring waiting periods, making it suitable for players seeking high efficiency or focusing on playing strong hands. Typical scenario: You hold a low pocket pair on the flop, choose to fold in the face of a bet, and are instantly moved by the system to a new table, receiving new hole cards such as AK, immediately starting a new hand, thereby maximizing the number of hands per hour.
Overview
Fast-Fold is a mode of online poker designed to reduce waiting time and increase hand frequency. In this mode, when a player folds, the system immediately moves them to a new table and deals them a new hand, without waiting for the current hand at the original table to finish. This mode is typically used in cash games and is particularly popular among players seeking high efficiency.
How It Works
- After joining a Fast-Fold game, the player is assigned to a table.
- At the start of each hand, the player receives two hole cards and proceeds with normal betting actions.
- Once the player folds, the system instantly removes them from the current table and places them on a new table, dealing a new hand.
- If the player folds after the flop, they are also immediately reassigned.
- Players can quit the game at any time or choose to sit out to avoid automatic dealing.
Features & Strategy
- High Hand Frequency: Since there is no waiting, players can participate in 2–3 times as many hands per hour compared to traditional modes.
- Limited Opponent Information: Due to frequent table changes, it is difficult to accumulate detailed data on opponents, reducing reliance on HUDs and placing greater emphasis on current hand and range analysis.
- Common Tight-Aggressive Strategy: Because the time cost per hand is low, players tend to adopt a tighter starting hand range and actively leverage position advantage.
- Higher Variance: Increased hand count leads to greater short-term swings, requiring solid bankroll management.
