Strategy Principles

• Positional Advantage: The HJ is in middle position, retaining some control after the preflop raise. A flop bet can force later-position players to fold.
• Paired Board Characteristics: When the flop is paired, straight and flush draws become less likely, and the board is more prone to full houses or quads. Therefore, a continuation bet can represent holding a strong combination on the paired board, such as top pair with a good kicker or an overpair.
