翻牌前双重下注(Preflop Double Barrel)
在翻牌前连续进行两次下注(通常指先加注,遭遇对手再加注后再次加注)的非标准术语,等同于4-bet。
Overview
"Preflop Double Barrel" is not a standard term in Texas Hold'em. Its literal meaning is "double bet before the flop." In actual gameplay, there is only one betting round preflop, so "double" typically refers to two consecutive raises: first, a player makes an initial raise, then another player re-raises (i.e., 3-bet), and the original raiser re-raises again (i.e., 4-bet). Thus, the scenario described by this term essentially equates to a 4-bet.
Usage & Misuse
Due to the lack of a precise definition, this term can easily cause confusion. Some players may use it to refer to a continuation bet (C-bet) on the flop immediately after a preflop raise, but this is more commonly called "preflop raise + flop C-bet" rather than a double barrel. It is recommended to use standard terms like "4-bet" or "re-raise" in communication.
Strategic Implications
If interpreted as a 4-bet, Preflop Double Barrel typically signals very strong holdings such as AA, KK, or AK. Players make consecutive preflop raises to build pot control or force opponents to fold. However, in specific situations, it can also be used as a bluff against tight-passive players.
