小盲位翻牌前延迟持续下注(静态)(SB Preflop Delayed C-Bet Static)

小盲位玩家在翻牌前跟注后,于翻牌圈过牌、转牌圈进行固定尺度的持续下注的策略。

Overview

SB Preflop Delayed C-Bet Static is a post-flop strategy for the small blind (SB) position. The core idea is to limp-call preflop, then intentionally check on the flop, and make a fixed-size continuation bet (C-Bet) on the turn. "Static" means the bet size remains constant regardless of board texture or opponent adjustments, typically set at a fixed percentage of the pot (e.g., 50% or 75%).

Strategy Principle

  • Reason for delay: The small blind is at a positional disadvantage post-flop (acting first). A direct C-Bet often invites raises or calls that lead to complex situations. By checking, the SB lets the opponent act on the flop, gaining more information while controlling the pot.
  • Static betting: Using a fixed size simplifies decisions and reduces errors from insufficient analysis. This is suitable when opponents are less attentive or when the SB is unfamiliar with the flop structure. Typical example: After checking the flop, bet 2/3 pot on the turn regardless of the turn card.

Applicable Scenarios and Limitations

  • Applicable scenarios:
    • Opponent has a high fold rate on the turn after checking the flop.
    • SB holds medium-strength hands and wants to force folds at a low cost.
    • Fast-paced game requiring simplified strategy.
  • Limitations:
    • Static sizing can be exploited by experienced opponents (e.g., they infer hand strength from bet size).
    • Checking the flop may reveal weakness, leading opponents to raise on the turn as a counter.
    • Not suitable for flops with wet textures or many draws.

Notes

This term is not a standard poker term; it appears mainly in specific training materials or player communities. In practice, you should dynamically adjust based on opponent tendencies and stack sizes. A purely static strategy is only profitable under limited conditions.
