站立赛(Stand Up Game)
Stand Up Game
一种扑克锦标赛形式,玩家在输掉全部筹码后立即被淘汰并须离开座位,直至剩下一名冠军。
Overview
A Stand Up Game is a unique poker tournament or cash game variant where the core rule is: once a player loses all their chips, they must immediately stand up and leave the table, with no re-entry or rail-birding allowed. The game continues until only one player remains.
Rule Details
- Starting chips: Each player receives an equal amount of starting chips.
- Advancement: Players accumulate chips by winning pots; those who lose chips are eliminated.
- Elimination mechanism: When a player's chips reach zero, they are immediately eliminated and must leave their seat.
- End condition: When only one player remains, that player is declared the champion (usually winning the entire prize pool).
In cash game versions, players may choose to leave at any time and take their remaining chips, but tournament versions typically do not allow mid-game exits.
Features & Strategy
- Fast pace: With players constantly being eliminated, the average number of hands decreases, increasing decision-making pressure.
- Aggressive style: Early on, it's beneficial to accumulate chips to avoid being passive and quickly eliminated.
- Short-stack strategy: When chips become short, players need to push all-in or fold more frequently.
Related Terms
- Knockout Tournament: Players receive a bounty for each elimination, but in a Stand Up Game only the final winner receives the prize.
- Single Table Tournament (SNG): Similar to a Stand Up Game, but players may leave after losing all chips, and standing is not required.
- Deep Stacked (Deep Stack): In Stand Up Games, the starting stack is typically deep to prolong the game.
