T2不同花(Ten Deuce Offsuit)

Ten Deuce Offsuit

It refers to a starting hand consisting of a ten and a deuce of different suits, usually considered a weak hand.

Hand Strength Overview

Ten Deuce Offsuit (T2o) is one of the weakest starting hands in Texas Hold'em. The two cards have a large gap and are offsuit, so they cannot form a flush draw, making it difficult to hit a strong made hand post-flop. Unless you flop trips or two pair, the hand is extremely weak and easily dominated by higher cards.

Common Strategy

Generally, T2o should be folded from any position, especially facing a raise. Only in extremely rare special situations (e.g., in the big blind facing a very small raise with tiny blinds) might a call be considered, but overall this is a negative expected value play.

Typical Situations

Example: In a 9-handed game, raising or calling with T2o from early or middle position is usually a mistake, as it is easily dominated by better hands (such as AK, AQ, etc.). Even from the button or small blind, you should avoid speculating.

Starting Hand Position

In a standard starting hand chart, T2o falls into the "strongly recommended fold" category and is not advised to enter a pot from almost any position.
