It is a gapped suited connector with high-quality straight draw potential and good implied odds in deep stacks. It has about 2–4% higher preflop equity than 65o, and stronger postflop flush draws. Only play from CO/BTN deep stacks or SB stealing blinds; fold from early positions.

UTG	65s lacks sufficient playability in UTG position, easily dominated postflop, and the UTG range is tight, so it's not suitable to enter the pot.
MP	Fold. Unless the table is extremely passive and stacks are deep >100BB, MP is still too early. 65s needs multiway pots to realize equity, but raising from MP is easily isolated.
CO	You can raise 2-3BB. CO has positional advantage; if later position players are tight, you can steal blinds; post-flop, you can utilize straight/flush potential and steal pot opportunities.
BTN	BTN is best; can raise to steal blinds, or call to trap blinds; post-flop positional advantage maximizes the speculative value of 65s.
SB	Fold or occasionally raise 3-4BB. SB has poor postflop position; raising can steal blinds, but need to watch BB defense; deep stack can call, but easy to get squeezed.
BB	Call or raise. Facing a CO/BTN raise, can call due to pot odds; facing an SB raise, can raise to re-steal, utilizing the blocking and playability of 65s.

If raised preflop, can continue betting to represent high cards, but fold to resistance. When hitting a pair or a draw, can bet small to control the pot.

g., 4-8 or 7-6 or flush draws, can aggressively semi-bluff raise. With high draw equity, can bet 2/3 pot or check-raise to force opponent folds.

g. K♠K♦7♣

Check-call small bets to exploit implied odds; if opponent shows weakness, small bet to steal the pot, but avoid large pots.

Monotone board e.g. A♠8♠3♠

If you miss, check-fold; if you hit the flush, you can slow-play or value bet. Be aware that opponents may hold a higher flush.

Catatan matchup

Recommended to raise or call preflop, and semi-bluff with draws postflop. 65s vs QQ 46% equity: Nearly even, but QQ is prone to being overcarded postflop; 65s can play aggressively on low-connected boards. 65s vs 88 54% equity: Slight advantage. 88 has difficulty folding postflop; when 65s hits a draw, apply pressure by betting. Overall, 65s is good against big pairs or high cards, but must avoid being dominated.

MTT push/fold

On BTN/CO, if everyone folds to you, you can shove to steal blinds; otherwise fold. 15BB: Raise 2-2.5BB, shove if facing a 3-bet. 20BB: Raise 2-3BB, call the 3-bet to see the flop, fold if you miss your draws. When short-stacked, 65s has high fold equity value, but be cautious against calling stations.
