KQo is the offsuit combination of KQ, with preflop equity lower than KQs. It is easily dominated by suited versions and bigger high cards. In MP, it can be opened; standard open from CO/BTN; mostly fold from UTG.

Facing a 3-bet: AKo type can 4-bet/fold line, AJo type mostly fold.

UTG	KQo in early position against multiple players yet to act is easily dominated by AX or pocket pairs, making postflop play difficult. Even if you raise, you often get called or re-raised, leading to long-term -EV.
MP	From MP, you can raise 2.5-3BB. If there are limpers in front, raise to isolate; if there are many aggressive players behind, consider folding. Post-flop, if you hit top pair, be cautious and watch out for AK/AQ.
CO	If no one has entered the pot before, you can raise to steal blinds; if someone limps, raise to isolate. Post-flop continuation bet frequency is high, but need to pay attention to opponent range.
BTN	BTN raises 3BB or 3-bets. If the blinds are tight, can raise to steal blinds; if facing a 3-bet, can call or 4-bet bluff. Post-flop position advantage, can play for value or bluff.
SB	If the blinds are loose, you can raise to steal; if facing a 3bet, usually fold. Positional disadvantage post-flop; be cautious with top pair and avoid large pots.
BB	If SB raises, you can call to see the flop; if you hit top pair post-flop, you can raise. If there are multiple limpers, you can raise to isolate. When 3-bet bluffing, pay attention to opponent's range.

Dry low-card board e.g. 7♣2♦9♠

If your flop bet gets called, you can continue betting on the turn to represent a strong hand. If you hit top pair or top pair with top kicker, you can bet for value.

Wet connected board e.g. 9♠8♠7♥

If betting, consider that opponents have many draws and may be easily raised. When hitting top pair, you can bet but be careful to protect your hand and avoid giving free cards. If hitting a straight draw or flush draw, you can semi-bluff.

Paired board e.g. K♠K♦7♣

If you miss the flop, you can bluff, but consider your opponent's calling range. If the board has an overpair, proceed with caution.

Flush board e.g. A♠8♠3♠

If you hit top pair, you can bet but be aware of opponents' possible flush. If holding a K or Q high flush draw, you can semi-bluff raise.

Catatan matchup

When hitting a K or Q post-flop, be wary of AKo's top pair top kicker. KQo vs QQ: 46% win rate, slight disadvantage; avoid going all-in on a Q-high flop. KQo vs 88: 54% win rate, slight advantage. Post-flop, if you hit a high pair you can bet for value, but be aware of 88 hitting a set. KQo vs A2s: Approximately 60% win rate, advantage, but post-flop be cautious of the flush draw.

MTT push/fold

KQo can shove from CO and later positions. In MP, it depends. Fold from UTG. 15BB: Raise to 2.5BB. Facing a 3bet, shove or fold. From CO/BTN, can shove. 20BB: Standard raise to 3BB. Facing a 3bet, can call or 4bet shove. Avoid shoving from UTG/MP; consider folding.
