Cardplayer Lifestyle Becomes Exclusive Media Partner of WPA Women's Poker Week for Third Consecutive Year

The 2026 Women's Poker Week (June 19-July 1) is coming to Las Vegas, with Cardplayer Lifestyle partnering with the Women's Poker Association (WPA) for the third time to provide exclusive coverage. Veteran journalist Roxanne Johnson will cover multiple women's events live on-site and feature a 'Daily Star' spotlight segment. Sponsors include Texas Card House, Clayton Financial and Tax, and others.
Cardplayer Lifestyle announces a renewed partnership with the Women's Poker Association (WPA), becoming the exclusive media partner for the 2026 Women's Poker Week. This marks the third consecutive year of collaboration, with the goal of increasing visibility for women's poker events.
WPA President AJ Rudolph said: "It's 'summer camp' time again! WPA is thrilled to partner with Cardplayer Lifestyle for the third straight year to provide coverage for women and events that don't often get the spotlight. Women make up less than 5% of live poker players, but we are growing! Our community has so many great players, and I'm excited to see them shine. Thank you to our sponsors for continuing to support WPA and women in poker. I look forward to seeing all the friendly faces when I arrive in Las Vegas at the end of June. It's the best time of the year!"
Coverage Plan
A few years ago, Women's Poker Week had plenty of promotion but never in-depth coverage. This partnership aims to showcase the various women's events around Las Vegas, as well as the fantastic players and venues. This year's coverage is once again led by veteran poker journalist Roxanne Johnson.
Roxanne said: "I had a great time last year and am happy to step into this role again for 2026. It's a privilege to have a front-row seat watching them compete at the tables! I love covering women's events!"
Roxanne will wear a Cardplayer Lifestyle badge and report results, final tables, champions, as well as some players and fun stories from multiple women's events. Follow @PokerLifeMedia and @RoxanneLee321 on X for live updates.
