Aaron Shu Nu Zang

Aaron Shu Nu Zang was born on June 21, 1982, in China. During high school, he played Magic: The Gathering and won a Chinese championship in the card game. He graduated from university in 2005. In 2013, he founded a company specializing in Bitcoin in Shenzhen.

After university, a friend introduced Zang to poker. He regularly deposited money on the online poker site partypoker but repeatedly lost it. In 2006, his uncle gave him ¥1,000 (about $150), which Zang used to build a bankroll of ¥400,000 ($63,000) within a year. He turned professional in 2007, playing in Macau.
