Anatoly Filatov was born in Moscow, Russia, in 1988. He began his professional poker journey in the late 2000s, transitioning from a background that valued logic and strategy into the world of online poker. Playing under the screen name "NL_Profit", he quickly rose through the ranks as a feared online specialist before establishing himself on the live tournament circuit. He became a member of the PokerStrategy coaching team, where he shared his aggressive, mathematically driven approach to the game.

Filatov's first major live score came in March 2014 at the European Poker Tour (EPT) Vienna, where he finished second in the €10,300 High Roller for €265,200 (approximately $366,070). This put him on the map as a rising force in high-stakes tournaments.

In August 2018, he captured his first major title at the partypoker MILLIONS Russia Main Event, taking down the ₽318,000 buy-in event for ₽60,000,000 (roughly $944,230). This victory solidified his status as one of Russia's top players.

In the 2023 World Series of Poker, he cashed in multiple events, including the $5,000 8-Handed event (81st for $8,815) and the $1,500 Super Turbo Bounty (84th for $3,082). His 2025 schedule included a deep run in the Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju II $60,000 event, where he finished third for $950,000, and a cash in the $25,000 Super Main Event at WSOP Paradise (197th for $70,000).
