Benjamin Sage

Benjamin Sage is an American poker player and financial professional. He is best known for his deep run in the 2012 World Series of Poker, where he led a high-stakes Pot-Limit Omaha event after the first day.

Sage graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in Finance/Operations Management. His academic background provided him with analytical skills that later aided his poker career.

In June 2012, Sage entered Event 39: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha at the WSOP. The tournament attracted 293 players, creating a prize pool of $2,754,200. After ten levels of play, Sage emerged as the chip leader with 358,400 chips, ahead of notable players like Joe Kushner, Jason Mercier, and Joe Cada.
