Daniel Weinman

Daniel Weinman was born on February 3, 1988, in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009 with a degree in mechanical engineering and worked as an engineer before turning to poker full-time. Outside of poker, Weinman is an avid golfer with a scratch handicap and competed in a qualifier for the U.S. Mid-Amateur Golf Championship in 2023.

Weinman began his live poker career in the early 2010s, with his first WSOP final table coming in 2012 in a Pot Limit Hold'em event during the 43rd World Series of Poker. He won titles in Spain and Australia during this period, building early momentum. A major breakthrough came in December 2015 when he won the WSOP Circuit Cherokee Main Event for $280,260, defeating a large field at Harrah's Cherokee.
