Early Career

Emma Wikberg first appeared on the Swedish poker scene in 2011, when she finished 9th in the main event of the Svenska Pokerförbundets live-SM (Swedish Poker Championship) held at Casino Cosmopol. She earned 54,000 SEK for that performance.

2015 Swedish Poker Championship Victory

In 2015, Wikberg made history by winning the main event of the live-SM, held at Dragonara on Malta. She defeated a field of 159 players, becoming the first woman ever to win the Swedish Poker Championship main event. After a nine-hour final table, she faced Johan Engström from Sala in heads-up play. The two players made a deal when stacks were even, each guaranteeing €20,000, and played for the remaining €5,000 and the title. After two hours of heads-up action, Wikberg emerged victorious, securing the championship and €20,000.

Sponsorship with online poker

In 2016, Emma Wikberg signed with online poker as an ambassador, representing the site in various campaigns and tournaments. She defended her SM title wearing online poker colors and participated in the SuperXL tournament series on the site. Her experience in the gaming industry, having previously worked with sponsored player relations, made her a natural fit for the role.

Blogging and Other Activities

Wikberg has maintained a poker blog where she shares reflections on tournaments and the mental aspects of the game. In one post, she mentioned the Paf Poker Challenge as one of her favorite events. Despite her success, she has kept a relatively low profile, focusing on her game and occasional sponsorship duties.
