Frank Funaro is an American professional poker player known for his skill in high-stakes mixed games and extremely aggressive style, known as 'The Fun Master'.
Early Career
Frank Funaro is from the United States and graduated with a background in real estate. He initially gained fame in online poker, once ranking #1 in the United States on PocketFives. His first live tournament cash came in a 2016 event at Borgata, after which he gradually transitioned into a live high roller specialist.
Major Tournament Results
Funaro's largest single cash came from the 2022 WPT World Championship, where he finished fifth in the $10,400 buy-in Main Event at Wynn Las Vegas, earning $1,301,000. That result pushed his annual total to $1,556,530, nearly three times his previous year's earnings.
In 2024, he won WSOP Event #57: $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold'em for $612,997. In 2023, he placed sixth in WSOP Event #16: $25,000 High Roller for $270,238. He also finished fourth in the 2026 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown ($240,000) and third in the 2025 PokerStars Open Philadelphia $1,100 Main Event ($125,708).
