Gerald Claunch

Gerald Claunch is an American poker competitor active in live tournament poker, primarily on the domestic circuit. While not among the most famous names, Claunch has appeared in several notable events, including the Heartland Poker Tour and the World Series of Poker.

In February 2020, Claunch played in the Heartland Poker Tour $1,650 Main Event at Hollywood Casino St. Louis. He was eliminated on Day 1a in a hand against Mark Koeln, where Claunch three-bet shoved for 32,100 with [6♠][7♠] and Koeln called with [A♠][K♠]. Koeln’s hand held up, sending Claunch to the rail.

Earlier in the same event, Claunch was involved in a two-hand series against John Thornton.
