Early Career and Major Win
Gui Van burst onto the live poker scene in July 2017 when he won the $130 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) Big Stack Special at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. Topping a massive field of 1,719 entries, Van turned his $130 buy-in into a first-place prize of $23,793. This remains his largest recorded cash.
WSOP and Recent Results
Van recorded his first World Series of Poker cash in 2025, finishing 15th out of 472 entrants in Event #43: $1,500 Razz at the WSOP, earning $5,718. In 2026, he participated in the Seminole Hard Rock Showdown Event #34, a $400 Black Chip Bounty 5-Card Pot-Limit Omaha tournament. He made it to the final table and finished in 4th place for $1,625.
