At just 18 years old, he made a deep run in the 2017 888Live Poker Festival São Paulo Main Event, which had a buy-in of R$1,300 and attracted 757 entrants. Cazula entered the final day as the chip leader, having bagged 1,706,000 chips after 21 levels. He navigated a roller-coaster day, including a hand where he called a three-bet with a flush to recover his stack.

He earned R$125,000, the largest cash of his career.
