Jon Brenneman

Jon Brenneman first appeared on the tournament scene in the late 2000s, recording his early WSOP cashes in 2009 and 2010. At the 2009 World Series of Poker, he finished 38th in Event #34: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em for $9,466, and in 2010 he placed 119th in Event #8: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em for $3,792.

Brenneman found significant success at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood poker room. In 2023, he won two major series trophies: a $400 Omaha-8 event and a $1,100 8-Game event. He added a third trophy in 2024, taking down Event 72 of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, a $400 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw for $4,155. Later that year, he won the $1,100 Eight-Game Mix at the same venue for $26,620, defeating Brian Yoon heads-up.

Brenneman has also performed well on the WSOP Circuit. In November 2024, he won a WSOP Circuit event at Horseshoe Las Vegas: Event #6: $600 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw, earning $13,286. He has several other Circuit final tables, including a runner-up finish in a $600 O/E event and third place in a $600 Omaha 8 or Better. His total WSOP and WSOP Circuit cashes exceed $102,000, with total live earnings of $456,272 according to The Hendon Mob.

Brenneman specializes in mixed games, particularly limit variants like H.O.R.S.E., 2-7 Triple Draw, and Omaha-8. His consistent deep runs in these disciplines highlight his technical skill and adaptability. While not a household name, his multiple major series trophies and WSOP Circuit ring establish him as a respected player on the tournament circuit.
