He led from Day 1b and never relinquished control, defeating Jae Chul Chang heads-up to claim the title and the top prize of $27,700. The event featured 40 nationalities, setting a record for the APT.

Lindstrom demonstrated his skill early in his career at the 2008 PokerStars.net APPT Macau Main Event. On Day 1b, he eliminated Australia's top-ranked online player Jay "Seabeast" Kinkade, sending him to the rail just short of a Day 2 berth.
