Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Mike Leah grew up in the area and later took residence in Innisfil, Ontario. He began his poker career playing online under the screen names "GoLeafsGoEh," "Work," and "BrockLesnar." Starting at micro-stakes, he steadily climbed the ranks through disciplined bankroll management and aggressive play, eventually transitioning to live tournaments and cash games.
