Mor Mizrahi

Mor Mizrahi was born on January 5, 1981, in Miami, Florida. Growing up in a family of gamblers, he learned poker from his older brother Robert and started playing online at age 15. He dropped out of college to pursue poker full-time and later worked briefly as a dealer at Seminole Hard Rock.

Mizrahi turned to live tournaments in 2004 and quickly found success. He earned his first WSOP bracelet in 2010 by winning the $50,000 Poker Players Championship, defeating Vladimir Shchemelev heads-up. That same year, he finished fifth in the WSOP Main Event for $2,332,992. He won his second bracelet in 2011 at the WSOP Europe in a €10,400 No-Limit Hold'em event.

Mizrahi holds a record four wins in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship (2010, 2012, 2018, 2025) and has eight WSOP bracelets overall. His biggest career win came in 2025 when he won the WSOP Main Event, taking home $10,000,000. He also has two World Poker Tour titles and was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2025 under extraordinary circumstances.

Known as 'The Grinder,' Mizrahi plays an aggressive, high-pressure style that relies on bluffs and psychological reads. He values position and chip leverage, often forcing opponents into tough decisions. His nickname reflects his relentless work ethic and love for constant action.

Mizrahi is fluent in Hebrew and of Iraqi Jewish descent. He has three children and lived in Hollywood, Florida. He faced financial difficulties, including a federal tax lien and foreclosure, but overcame them through continued poker success. His brother Robert is also a professional poker player, and his twin brother Eric plays semi-professionally.
