Nacim Amakrane

Nacim Amakrane has built a solid tournament resume primarily on the European poker circuit. His first recorded cash came in late 2021 during the DeepStack Championship Poker Series, where he finished 37th out of 1,408 entrants for $4,325. He followed this with a 7th-place finish in the same series for $9,360, showcasing his ability to run deep in large fields.

In December 2021, he placed 52nd in the Unibet DeepStack Open Main Event (721 entries) for €1,420. The following year, in February 2022, he cashed in the All Poker Open PMU – APO 1000 €, finishing 64th out of 600 players for €2,050.

Amakrane has also made his mark in World Series of Poker and European Poker Tour events. At the 2021 WSOP in Las Vegas, he cashed twice: 291st in Event #30: Monster Stack ($3,005) and 571st in Event #43: Double Stack ($1,602).

In December 2022, he traveled to Prague for the EPT stop and finished 69th in the €1,100 Eureka Main Event (1,985 entries), earning €7,060.

His strongest results have come at the WSOP Circuit Marrakech. In January 2023, he placed 4th in a €450 Opener (554 entries) for €14,000, and 7th in a €600 Short Handed event (187 entries) for €3,650. Most recently, in January 2025, he finished 110th in the €1,350 Main Event (1,523 entries) for €3,900.

Amakrane is widely regarded as a strategic and disciplined player. He excels in high-pressure situations, displaying patience and strong mathematical reasoning. His style balances aggression with caution, allowing him to navigate deep runs in large-field tournaments. This approach has earned him respect as a consistent performer in the competitive French and European poker scenes.

With six WSOP-related cashes and total live earnings exceeding $33,500, Nacim Amakrane continues to represent French poker on the international stage. While he has not yet claimed a major title, his frequent deep runs and steady results mark him as a player to watch in future high-stakes events.
