Patrik Jaros

Patrik Jaros, also spelled Patrik Jaroš, is a Czech poker professional based in Prague. His first notable international results came at the 2021 WSOP Europe, where he finished 12th in the €5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event for €12,742 and 19th in the €2,000 PLO event for €4,179. In early 2022 he cashed in the Eureka Main Event at EPT Prague, taking 126th for €4,060.

Jaros announced himself on the big stage at the 2022 PokerStars EPT Barcelona €5,300 Main Event. He battled through a field of 1,686 entries and finished fifth, earning €434,850. That result remains one of the largest single paydays of his career and put him firmly on the international radar. Later that summer he added a 38th-place finish in the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed Championship at the 2022 WSOP for $30,557.

Jaros has become a fixture in EPT high roller events. In 2023, he won the €10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller at WSOP Europe at King's Casino Rozvadov for €125,324. He also cashed in three other WSOP Europe PLO events that year: seventh in the €550 PLO 8-max for €8,700, 25th in the €2,000 PLO for €3,426, and 28th in the €5,000 PLO for €7,875.

His biggest career triumph came in December 2024 at EPT Prague. Jaros took down the €10,300 EPT High Roller for €573,500 (approximately $602,011), and just four days earlier he had won the €5,200 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller at the same festival for €151,600 (approximately $160,215). The two victories in one series formed a rare and historic double, showcasing his command of both major variants.

Jaros continued his high-stakes form in 2025. At EPT Monte Carlo, he finished third in the €25,000 High Roller for €511,700. Later that year he placed 13th in the €10,300 EPT High Roller in Barcelona for €62,300, and he also finished eighth in the €1,100 PokerStars Open at EPT Monte Carlo for €41,370. He added a runner-up finish in the €1,700 WSOP Circuit Main Event at King's Resort in January 2023, earning €118,650 (about $128,296), which remains one of his strongest non-EPT results.

Jaros has made numerous World Series of Poker appearances but has yet to capture a bracelet. His WSOP.com profile lists 19 cashes and $410,534 in total earnings, while other aggregators count 23 cashes and roughly $839,390 including EPT and WSOP Circuit results. He has reached four WSOP final tables and made six overall according to different WSOP profile snapshots.

At the 2024 WSOP, Jaros cashed in the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed event, finishing 17th for $15,317, and placed 20th in the $1,500 Mixed NLH/PLO Double Board Bomb Pot event for $10,918. The 2025 WSOP brought a 33rd-place finish in the $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed event for $25,816 and a 93rd-place result in the $5,000 8-Handed event for $9,932. He also cashed in WSOP Circuit events at Card Casino in August 2025, taking sixth in the Super PLO Highroller for €22,160 and 10th in the PLO Championship for €11,050.

Jaros showed his resilience at the 2026 WSOP, making four cashes in a single summer. He finished 20th in the $1,000 Mini Main Event for $41,000, 48th in the $10,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Championship for $21,151, 57th in the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship 8-Handed for $25,417, and 657th in the $10,000 WSOP Main Event for $27,500. He also cashed in the 2024 WSOP Europe €10,350 Main Event, finishing 83rd for €20,900, and in multiple 2025 WSOP Europe events, including a ninth-place run in the €10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Mystery Bounty for €19,500.

Czech poker media have described Jaros as a "poker amphibian" because of his comfort in both Texas Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha. He has won titles in both variants at EPT-level competition and regularly plays high-stakes cash games when he is not on the tournament circuit. His Omaha skill is particularly well documented: he has multiple PLO high roller victories, including the 2024 EPT Prague €5,200 PLO High Roller, the 2023 WSOPE €10,000 PLO High Roller, and a $10,000 PLO High Roller win at ARIA Las Vegas for $144,000. He also cashed in a $10,000 PLO win at the 2022 WSOP, further proving his adaptability in the four-card game.

In addition to his high roller exploits, Jaros regularly plays smaller buy-in events across Europe. He has cashed in the Eureka Main Event at EPT Prague, the EAPT Main Event at King's Resort, and the WSOP Circuit €250 Mini Main Event, where he finished ninth in January 2025. He also won the €390 La Notte Degli Assi €1 Million Main Event at Rozvadov in 2026 and finished fifth in the $2,200 Wynn Summer Classic in 2025, rounding out a career that mixes massive scores with consistent small-event results.

Away from the tables, Jaros enjoys traveling and food, often sharing his experiences on social media. He is a regular at King's Casino Prague and King's Resort Rozvadov, and PokerNews has noted that he is typically a high-stakes cash game player when he is not competing in tournaments. His live tournament earnings have surpassed $4 million, placing him among the top Czech players on the all-time money list.
