Pedro Oliveira

Pedro Oliveira is a Brazilian poker professional who has been playing since the age of 18. He holds a degree in economics and initially played online poker in Portugal before moving to São Paulo, Brazil, after online poker was banned in his home country. With over 14 years of professional experience, he balances his poker career with small business investments.

Oliveira's biggest live cash came in 2016, when he finished 5th in a $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em event at the World Series of Poker, earning $115,957. In 2018, he placed 3rd in a R$4,000 No-Limit Hold'em event at the WSOP International Circuit in Brazil for $101,415. He captured his first major title in 2022, winning the R$3,000 No-Limit Hold'em event at the BSOP São Paulo for $95,172. He also cashed in the 2017 WSOP Main Event, finishing in the money among 7,221 entrants.

According to a 2017 PokerNews profile, Oliveira is described as "hyper aggressive and willing to take chances to grab any pot." He believes that the competition in the WSOP Main Event is softer than the high-stakes online and cash games he regularly plays, stating, "With the competition that I play on a daily basis online and in high-stakes games, that competition is way, way harder." He is not afraid to make moves and aims to leverage his extensive online and live tournament experience.

Oliveira continues to remain active on the tournament circuit. In 2024, he cashed in events at the Aria Poker Classic and Wynn Summer Classic, both $1,100 No-Limit Hold'em tournaments, earning over $2,400 each. In 2025, he placed 31st in a $770 No-Limit Hold'em event at the SIGMA Poker Tour in São Paulo. He also has numerous online cashes, including a deep run in the 2023 WSOP Online Mystery Millions.
