Sebastien Sergent

Sébastien Sergent discovered poker in 2006 while watching Eurosport late at night. He was studying psychology at the University of Saint-Denis and needed a job to support his studies. He applied to become a croupier at the Cercle Concorde and worked in various Parisian clubs for 3-4 years, dealing at events in France and abroad until 2010. He later returned to school via correspondence to earn a BTS in Communication.

Sergent is a regular in Parisian poker circles. His best live tournament result is a second-place finish in the Warm-Up event of the 2010 EFOP (European Festival of Poker), earning €13,000. He also cashed in the Unibet London 2014 event, finishing 34th out of 400 players, which marked his first appearance on a televised final table.

In 2014, Sergent joined the Cercle Clichy Montmartre (CCM) at the invitation of Lorette Nepper, head of training. He now plays a key role in developing a continuous training program for dealers and managing the club's social media presence. He has been described as "one of the essential pieces" of CCM.

In 2026, Sergent participated in an interview podcast about WSOP Marrakech 2026 alongside Frédéric Delval, indicating his continued involvement in the French poker scene.

Sergent is known for his balanced and disciplined style, typical of the French poker approach, emphasizing position and pot control. He is respected within the community for his deep understanding of the game, both as a player and as a professional dealing instructor.
