Tom Marchese

Thomas Marchese was born on September 30, 1987, in Parsippany, New Jersey. He developed an interest in poker during high school and began playing seriously in college. He started his professional career online, playing under the screen name "Kingsofcards" on Full Tilt Poker, where he competed in very high stakes no-limit hold'em games.

In 2010, Marchese had a breakout year, making 11 final tables and winning the PokerStars.net NAPT Venetian Main Event in February. His consistent performance earned him the 2010 Card Player Player of the Year title.

Marchese has excelled in high roller events, particularly at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. In February 2015, he won back-to-back Aria High Roller events, netting $681,876. On July 3, 2019, he won the partypokerLIVE MILLIONS Vegas event at Aria for $1,000,000, marking his third seven-figure cash at the venue. As of 2017, his live tournament winnings exceeded $15,700,000, and his total live earnings now stand at $19,153,692.

Marchese has 19 WSOP money finishes and one bracelet. His highest WSOP Main Event finish was 14th in 2016. He won his first bracelet in 2023, taking down Event #17: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Max Championship Online for $195,963. He has also made multiple final tables in high roller events.
