200bb推弃策略(200bb Push Fold)
200bb Push Fold
Term: 200bb-push-fold At a stack depth of approximately 200 big blinds, a simplified strategy considering only all-in or fold.
Overview
200bb Push Fold is an extremely simplified poker strategy applicable to scenarios with a stack depth of approximately 200 big blinds. Under this strategy, a player only takes two actions: all-in or fold, ignoring all other bet sizes. This strategy is uncommon in deep stacks, as deep stacks typically require more nuanced bet sizing and range construction. However, it can serve as a rough approximation under certain conditions, such as early tournament stages or when ICM pressure is extremely high.
Application Scenarios
- Early Tournament Stages: When blinds are very low and stacks are very deep, some players may adopt all-in-or-fold to simplify decisions, but strictly speaking, a better strategy at 200bb deep stacks is to use different raise sizes.
- Heads-Up or Short-Handed Games: In very specific situations, if an opponent is extremely afraid of all-ins, it can be used as an exploitative tool.
- Learning Tool: Beginners can use the push/fold model to understand range balance and pot odds, but they must be aware of the differences between deep-stack and short-stack models.
Limitations
- Ignores Value Betting and Bluffing: At 200bb deep stacks, medium-strength hands often require smaller bets to extract value or induce folds. Going all-in loses those opportunities.
- Overly Tight Range: All-ins require extremely high equity, so the range of hands that can be shoved is very narrow (around AA, KK, AK, etc.), leading to excessive folding and easy exploitation by opponents.
- Highly Counter-Exploitable: If an opponent realizes you are using this strategy, they can easily force you to fold with small raises or hit strong hands in large pots.
Differences from Standard Push Fold
Standard Push Fold is typically used when stack depth is below 20bb (e.g., late MTT stages), where all-in or fold is GTO-recommended. At 200bb, GTO employs multiple bet sizes, so this term is mostly conceptual and not a practical recommendation.
