75大盲偷盲(75bb Steal)

75bb Steal

75bb-steal A blind-stealing strategy executed from a late position when the stack depth is approximately 75 big blinds.

Overview

75bb Steal refers to the act of attempting to win the blinds by raising from a favorable position (such as the button or cutoff) when deep-stacked (approximately 75 big blinds). At this stack depth, the risk of facing a re-raise is higher, requiring more precise opponent reading and range adjustments.

Strategy Points

  • Raise sizing: Typically raise to 2.5–3 big blinds, avoiding overly large bets that could cost too many chips.
  • Range selection: Choose a wider range that still has showdown value (e.g., low-medium pairs, suited connectors), avoiding pure junk hands that become difficult to handle when re-raised.
  • Defending against re-raises: When facing a re-raise, evaluate the opponent's tendencies. If they frequently re-raise, tighten your stealing range and consider 4-bet bluffing or folding.
  • Position advantage: Use late position to maintain initiative post-flop; even when called, you can take down the pot with a continuation bet.

Risks and Adjustments

At 75bb depth, a failed steal may cost about 3% of your stack, while a successful steal wins 1.5bb. In the long run, you must balance your steal frequency to avoid being exploited. Adjust dynamically based on how often opponents defend their blinds.
