92s

Term: 92s Nine-Deuce Suited Refers to a starting hand consisting of a 9 and a 2 of the same suit. It is one of the weakest starting hands in Texas Hold'em.

92 Suited (92s) is a typical garbage starting hand in Texas Hold'em, generally considered one of the weakest suited hands. Its card gap is large (7 points apart), preventing it from forming high-strength connectors, and both 9 and 2 are low-to-mid cards, making it difficult to form strong pairs or straight draws. The flush draw is its only concealed strong potential, but the probability of hitting a flush is about 6.5%. Even if a flush is made, it is often dominated by larger flushes or full houses. Post-flop, if no flush draw or two pair or better is hit, the hand should usually be folded immediately.
