大盲位20bb推弃策略(BB 20bb Push Fold)
BB 20bb Push Fold
Refers to a simplified strategy used in tournaments or SNGs when the big blind player's stack depth is about 20 big blinds: either go all-in or fold, without making raises or calls of other sizes.
Overview
BB 20bb Push-Fold is a near-optimal strategy for short stacks (around 20bb), commonly seen in late tournament stages or bubble phases of SNGs. The core logic is that when stacks are shallow, preflop decision space is compressed, and the big blind simplifies decisions by either going all-in or folding, avoiding postflop errors from being out of position.
Applicable Scenarios
- Typically used from the big blind with a stack depth of 10–25bb, with 20bb being the classic example.
- Primarily applied in heads-up or short-handed situations, though it can also be used as a supplement in full-ring games.
- During phases with high ICM pressure (e.g., bubble or payout jumps), this strategy helps protect chips while applying pressure.
Strategic Principles
The big blind acts last preflop (if the small blind does not raise), giving position. But with a 20bb stack, effective pot odds make it difficult to handle postflop shoves after a standard raise. Thus, the push-fold strategy divides hands into two groups:
- Push hands: Strong hands or those that fare well against the opponent’s calling range, such as high pairs, big broadways (AK, AQ), suited connectors (e.g., JTs), etc. The shoving range typically balances value and bluffs.
- Fold hands: Weak or dominated hands, such as small pairs (22–66), weak aces (A2o–A9o), etc., which are folded when the opponent’s calling range is strong.
Adjustments
- Opponent tendencies: If the opponent calls wide, tighten the shoving range and favor value; if the opponent calls narrow, increase bluff shoves.
- ICM pressure: Be more conservative when payouts are high (avoid flipping against deep stacks); be more aggressive when payouts are low.
- Position and stack sizes: If the small blind has fewer chips, the big blind can shove wider to apply pressure; if the small blind has more chips, be more cautious.
Notes
This strategy is a simplified model, not a GTO optimal solution. In practice, players can incorporate mixed strategies (e.g., small raises, min-raises) to add variety. At 20bb, skilled postflop players may not strictly adopt push-fold.
