大盲位翻牌前加注后彩虹面弃牌(BB Preflop Raise-Fold Rainbow)
Big blind player raises preflop, then folds on a rainbow flop three different suits.
Overview
BB Preflop Raise-Fold Rainbow describes a specific strategic action by the Big Blind (BB) player. The player constructs a preflop raising range (typically a 3-bet or isolation raise against a small blind or button steal), then on the flop, when facing a rainbow board (all three flop cards are of different suits), they choose to fold if they have not hit a strong hand or a draw.
Strategic Background
In Texas Hold'em, the Big Blind is the last to act preflop and has good pot odds. To counter aggressive small blind or button open-raises, the Big Blind often uses a wide range for preflop raises, such as weak A-x, suited connectors, small pairs, etc. Post-flop, a rainbow board lacks flush draw potential, so it is common for the Big Blind to fold when they have not flopped top pair, middle pair, or a straight draw, to avoid investing too many chips.
Typical Example
Example: Button raises, Big Blind 3-bets with 7♠8♠. Flop comes J♣5♥2♦ (rainbow). Big Blind misses entirely (only has a backdoor gutshot straight draw) and chooses to check-fold or fold directly facing a bet from the opponent.
Notes
This strategy is part of GTO or exploitative play; actual execution depends on opponent tendencies, stack depth, and table dynamics. A rainbow board is not an automatic fold signal—if the Big Blind holds a pair, top pair, or a strong draw (such as an open-ended straight draw), they should continue playing.
