大盲注翻牌前静态加注-弃牌策略(BB Preflop Raise-Fold Static)

大盲注玩家在翻牌前使用固定加注范围,并总是对对手的3bet弃牌的策略。

Overview

BB Preflop Raise-Fold Static is a simplified strategy from the big blind position. The player raises with a fixed range of hands and chooses to fold regardless of hand strength if facing a 3-bet (re-raise) from an opponent. This strategy is often used for learning purposes or in specific tournament stages, aiming to avoid complex adjustments and emphasize discipline.

Strategy Principle

  • Fixed Raising Range: The player predefines a raising range (e.g., top hands like AA, KK, etc., but in practice may only include strong hands to avoid losses) and does not change it based on opponent type or stack depth.
  • Unconditional Fold: Folds to any 3-bet, even with strong hands. This helps control risk but forfeits potential value, so it is typically only suitable for very short stacks or high ICM pressure situations.

Typical Application Scenarios

  • Late tournament stages: When stacks are very short (e.g., under 10 BB), the big blind may go all-in directly with strong hands instead of raise-fold; but if using raise-fold, the static strategy is simpler.
  • Teaching and practice: Beginners learn basic raising and folding discipline through a fixed strategy, avoiding overthinking.

Pros and Cons

  • Advantages: Simple to execute, avoids emotional decisions; reduces huge losses from misreading opponents.
  • Disadvantages: Gives up postflop advantage, cannot exploit opponents' excessive 3-betting; can be easily exploited in the long run.
