大盲河牌静态反偷(BB River Resteal Static)
指大盲注玩家在翻前跟注后,于河牌圈采用固定范围进行反加注(反偷)的策略,该范围不随对手历史频率调整,依赖对手整体弃牌率。
Concept
BB River Resteal Static is a variation of the big blind defense strategy, focusing on the river. Typically, after the big blind calls a preflop open, they face bets on the flop, turn, and river. If their fold rate on the river is too high, they may be exploited by opponents. Therefore, the big blind must select certain hand types to raise (re-steal) on the river, in order to balance their fold frequency.
Meaning of Static Strategy
"Static" means that this re-steal range is pre-set and not adjusted in real-time based on the opponent's specific folding tendencies. For example, the big blind may pre-set that on the river, when holding specific combos (such as some two pairs, trips, or busted draws), they raise to about 2.5-3 times the bet at a fixed frequency. This range is usually based on game theory optimal (GTO) equilibrium, rather than exploitative adjustments against fish.
Comparison with Dynamic Strategy
A dynamic re-steal adjusts the range based on the opponent's actual fold-to-river c-bet or fold-to-river raise. If the opponent folds extremely often, the raising range expands; if the opponent frequently calls or re-raises, it tightens. A static strategy remains constant. Its advantage is that it is less predictable to sharp opponents and is suitable for scenarios lacking historical data.
Typical Application Scenarios
- Board structure: For example, if the flop is wet (connected or flush draws), and the turn and river are bricks, the big blind's draws may have missed, allowing a re-steal attempt.
- Opponent's range: When the opponent opens with a small range preflop and continues betting (c-bet) postflop, the fold rate on a third river barrel is often higher.
- Example: After the big blind calls, flop K♠9♦7♣, turn 2♠, river 3♦. The big blind raises with A♠4♠ (busted flush draw), forcing the opponent to fold hands like AQ (one pair).
Considerations
- The static range should not be too wide, otherwise it is easily caught by value hands.
- Stack depth must be considered: re-stealing is riskier in deep stacks, so the static range should be tighter.
- Before using this strategy, confirm that the opponent is not a "calling station" (who never folds).
