Use Cases

• Value Raise: When the BTN player hits a strong hand on the flop (e.g., top pair top kicker, two pair, set, etc.), a check-raise can induce a bet from the opponent, building a larger pot.
• Bluff Raise: When the flop structure is unfavorable for the opponent's range, or when the BTN player holds a draw (e.g., straight draw, flush draw), a check-raise can apply pressure, forcing the opponent to fold, or setting up future bets.
