按钮位河牌三条街彩虹面下注(BTN River Triple Barrel Rainbow)

BTN River Triple Barrel Rainbow

Refers to an aggressive play where the player in the button position bets on all three streets flop, turn, river consecutively, and the board is a rainbow (all cards of different suits, no flush draw possible).

Terminology Breakdown

  • BTN: Button, the most advantageous position in Texas Hold'em, acting last in every betting round.
  • River: The fifth and final community card.
  • Triple Barrel: Betting on all three streets – flop, turn, and river.
  • Rainbow: Rainbow board, where all community cards are of different suits, eliminating the possibility of a flush draw or made flush.

Strategic Meaning

This term describes a specific betting pattern: a button player actively bets on the flop, turn, and river, and the board is a rainbow. A rainbow board means opponents are less likely to call with flush draws, so the player's bets represent value hands or extreme bluffs. Due to the button's positional advantage, this line is often used to represent a strong value range (e.g., top pair or better) or as a range-balancing tool, bluffing in appropriate spots.

Typical Application Scenarios

  • Value Bet: When holding the nuts or a strong made hand (e.g., top pair top kicker, two pair, trips), the player extracts value from opponents' weaker made hands or draws by betting all three streets.
  • Bluff: A rainbow board reduces the likelihood of opponents having flush draws, so bluffs need to consider opponents' top pair or straight draws. If the player's flop continuation bet is called, then they bet the turn, and the river comes a blank (no straight completes), a third bet may force opponents to fold medium-strength hands.

Notes

  • Three-barrel betting must consider board texture, opponent type, and one's own range. A rainbow board is not always favorable; it can sometimes reduce the credibility of bluffs because opponents can more easily assess whether they are beaten by a flush.
  • On rainbow boards, straight draws become the primary threat. Therefore, if the river completes a possible straight, the value of a triple barrel decreases.
